The culmination of God's grand plan for all time can be seen in the last book of the bible:
“And I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice, ‘Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.’ And every created thing which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all things in them, I hear saying, ‘To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever.’ And the four living creatures kept saying, ‘Amen.’ And the elders fell down and worshiped.” Revelation 5:11—14
All of us who have put our faith in Christ for our salvation will have the unspeakable privilege of experiencing this moment! What an experience it will be!
Today, there are still millions of people who the Lord wants to be present at this celebration, but who have not yet heard the good news of the gospel. In spite of our weakness, the Lord has given us the job of taking the good news to them. He will convict them of their need for Christ, but it is our job to be the messenger. After they come to Christ, we have been given the privilege of helping them become mature disciples. In light of how the story ends, it is impossible to imagine a more important job!
At RBC, we are committed to equipping and motivating disciples to effectively share the gospel wherever they go:
“...you shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” Acts 1:8b
