Making Disciples who Love God...

When Jesus was asked what was the most important of all the Scriptural commandments, He replied:

...you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength...
Mark 12:30

God saved us so that we could have a relationship with Him, both now and into eternity. This is God's greatest desire – so great that Jesus was willing to die a hideous death to make this relationship possible.

Developing your relationship with the Lord is the most important thing you can do with your life – period. Everything else in the Christian life falls into place naturally when you are experiencing the nearness of God moment by moment and responding to Him in love and obedience. Like any other relationships, it takes time and effort. Years will be required for the relationship to fully mature. The more time and effort you put in, the richer and more intimate the relationship will become.

At RBC, we are committed first and foremost to developing disciples who hearts cry out to God:

“O God, You are my God; I shall seek you earnestly; my soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for you...”
Psalm 63:1
