World Missions

Meet our Missionaries!

Each one of them would love for you to contact them with words of encouragement or inquiries on prayer needs.  (Not all of our missionaries are listed on our web site for different reasons, but all of our missionaries are on the back of a Sunday bulletin)

Want to give them a call? Not sure what time it is in their part of the world? Find out at www.thetimenow.com or www.worldtimezone.com.

Monthly Prayer Request from the Lopers
Ralph & Ruth Loper – Global Recordings Network – Temecula

In Col. 1: 3-5 we learn that the gospel is the absolute truth.  The truth is that when one hears the good news and puts his faith in it, then he has a love for all the saints here on earth and a great hope that is laid up in heaven.  Thank you for your prayers for us so that the gospel recorded in over 6500 languages and dialects will be heard and believed by many, giving them a love for others and a wonderful hope of eternal life.

Here is the next set of prayer requests for us during OCTOBER:

  1. Please continue to pray for the Lord’s wisdom and direction as Ralph and the GRN administrative team work together to prepare a new annual financial budget for 2018. This budget will need to be ready for the GRN board of directors’ approval at their next quarterly meeting in November. Ask the Lord to grant us wise faith in Him to meet the 2018 financial needs.
  2. Thank you to those who prayed for Ralph’s surgery last month (Sep. 12) to remove skin cancer from the back of his right ear.  The dermatologist (one of the best in our county of Riverside) was able to remove all the cancerous tissue and sew him up (15 stitches) very well with no pain.  Please pray that the wound will now completely heal leaving a minimal scar.
  3. Continue to pray for our son Nathaniel that he will be diligent in his school studies as a high school senior at Julian Charter School (JCS) as well as taking two general education courses (US History and Pre-Calculus) at a local junior college (MSJC). Ask the Lord to give him a great heart attitude that will lead to a great academic year learning not only his subjects but also learning to grow in his faith and walk with the Lord. Also, pray for Ruth as she is now the president of the PATS (Parents Assisting Teachers and Students) program at JCS (similar to PTA). This program rallies volunteer parents to assist the school by running fund-raisers and hosting special events to recognize the hard work of the teachers. Please pray for Ruth as she and her team carry out these worthwhile projects.

God’s Word on Worship

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
